Victorias, officially the City of Victorias, or simply Victorias City is a 4th class city in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 87,933 people. Victorias is notable for its the St. Joseph the Worker Chapel, which was declared as an Important Cultural Property of the Philippines in December 2015.
It is also known for being the site of  Victorias Milling Company, the world's largest integrated sugar mill, sitting on a 7,000 hectares (17,000 acres) compound that makes it the Philippine's largest sugar refinery.
The town of Victorias was originally located in what is now known as Daan Banwa (Old Town), a fishing village beside Malihaw River and near its outlet to the sea. the City of Victorias has Different Tourist spots. One of this is the Gawahon Eco-tourism Development Project, The Victorias Public Plaza, Victorias Milling Company, Immaculate Concepcion Cathedral, VMC Golf and Country Club, Iron Dinosaur, Church of St. Joseph the Worker,  Toreno Fish Pond and Kadalag-an Amusement City Center. This city is very popular in their Victorias Milling Company which milled the sugar canes that is recognized to be the center of attraction in the City. 
How to get there?
Considered as the sugar capital of Negros Occidental, Victorias can be reached in 40 to 45 minutes from Bacolod City either by private car or public utility vehicles plying the northern Negros.
First trip starts as early as 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Two local public utility buses serve ply the area everyday.








GAWAHON ECO-PARK Nestled in a lush tropical forest named after a Hiligaynon word which means ‘overlooking’. Carpeted with verdant vegetation, Gawahon conceals magnificent seven (7) waterfalls and offers its visitors a tantalizing panoramic view of Victorias City of Victorias City and neighboring towns and cities. Home to the Island’s unique threatened and endemic flora and fauna. The Philippine Biodiversity and Conservation Foundation of the Philippines have recorded a total number of 166 species in the forest of Gawahon Eco-Park. Among these species are 19 threatened species including the critically endangered and threatened species like Negros Bleeding Heart Pigeon, Rufuos-headed Hornbill, Visayan Warty Pig, and Visayan Tarictic Hornbill.




VICTORIAS CITY HALL Has an imposing façade built between 1935 and 1938 during the time of Felix Montinola Sr. who was the first executive to hold the position as Municipal Mayor. Built through donations from the townspeople of Victorias. Old City Hall was made of Nipa and native materials. The colonial architecture of the city hall represents the political aspect of the city being the seat of political power. It reflects the people’s humility and strength of character. Located at Osmeǹa Street, Victorias City.






VICTORIAS MILLING COMPANY –  Established and started to operate on 1919, founded by Don Miguel Ossorio. This refinery is considered as the first biggest sugar mill and refinery in Southeast Asia and the country’s biggest supplier of refined sugar for it supplies about 28%. The 1st sugar mill in the country to earn ISO 9002 Certification. It sugar operations is consist of two mill tandems with a combine rated grinding capacity of 15,000 tons canes daily.VMC is built in solid 600 hectare agro-industrial complex ground with interesting attractions such as old American houses, the first Don Bosco Technical Institute in the Philippines, Iron Dinosaur, the fascinating Carabao Sundial, Old Simboryo and the St. Joseph the Worker Church.





VMC GOLF & COUNTRY CLUBLocated inside the agro-industrial compound of VMC. Offers an 18-hole golf course covered by lush greens and a well-lighted driving range classified as PAR 71. Has a spacious restaurant where you can relax and enjoy sumptuous meals after a long game. Has an estimated of 3000 annual number of players.
